Education As The Path To Self-Sufficiency
Education allows the materially impoverished to survive and thrive. The obstacles are daunting, yet FFP’s focus on education is changing lives for the better.
Early Childhood and Primary Schools
Impoverished people must prioritize basic survival. This struggle creates generational poverty since they must relinquish their educational goals to survive.
FFP activities include:
- Provide a tuition supplement so children drop not out to do menial labor.
- Provide help with uniforms and books so children can attend.
- Support teacher salaries, so schools do not close from lack of funds to pay them.
- Construction of schools so children have a safe place and sufficient space to learn.
- Support requested teacher training to enhance educational performance.
